i have peripheral neuropathy and can still walk some but not far...i use this for outings i wouldn't be able to do...the chair is wonderful on a recent shore boardwalk trip i was able to negotiate the full length of the boardwalk and it's many shops and restaurants...the jazzy select 6 handles tight spaces very well and no problems with range...i went about 6 miles with no problems...it's built like a tank and can handle abuse...maybe overbuilt because it's a little heavy...i have a pickup truck with cap which i built ramps for and the jazzy scoots right up and into the back with just guidance no need to remove seat or batteries...and yes i would recommend this product...
