Most of the terrain I ride through is uneven sidewalks with lots of those yellow safety bumps on the ramps. Enter the KnowPed. This thing is a champion. It glides over just about anything you come across. Sticks, little rocks, and yes, those yellow safety bumps. The solid rubber tires make for a great ride with low maintenance. No flat tires here. A wide wooden deck offers plenty of room to fit both feet on. And a super strong frame make it the complete package. Urban scooters is a fantastic company that ships immediately. My husband wanted one of these for Christmas. The first place I looked was Amazon and I believe it was $399!! I then went to another website that had it priced at about what this company has it listed for but when I went to check out the shipping was $40!! I looked down the list a little more on google and found this company, saw awesome price AND free shipping! I realized as I went to order my husband really wanted blue but it was not listed so I held off ordering and emailed this company. A very friendly man answered my email very quickly and I was in luck! He had it in blue! Very fast shipment as well. He tried it out Christmas Day and absolutely loves it! Thank you!!!
The Know-Ped is great for a taller person. I am 6 feet 2 inches and I think it fits me perfect. I love scootin' around on this. Fun to ride in the city as well as paved country trails. It rolls easily, the foot deck area is large enough to accommodate my size 13 shoe size and when coasting downhill, both feet comfortably fit on the foot deck. Personally, I took off the front wheel handlebar brake (no need for it with the rear fender brake). This scooter arrived in pristine/mint condition. No scratches or markings of any kind from shipping. My wife has the Grow-Ped (she is 5 feet tall) and we love throwing these scooters in the trunk and heading downtown and to the parks with paved trails. Fun to ride and give you good exercise as well!! Both scooters are built very well and are very sturdy/solid. Urban Scooters is a great company and I would recommend anyone to order from them!! Their website may not be fancy, but the product, price, and customer service is perfect!! Thank You Urban Scooters!!
