The Terrier is a pediatric adaptive tricycle designed with younger children in mind, it is suitable for children from 4 ½ to 8 years old.
The Terrier is capable of supporting up to 100 lbs.
The inseam range for a child using the Terrier is 16 ½”-21 ½”.

The dual axle drive system reduces pedaling resistance, making it easy for a child with low muscle tone and decreased strength.
This dual-axle special needs tricycle is outfitted with a low ratio 1:1 fixed gear, which means that for one revolution of the pedals there is one revolution of the wheels. The fixed gear design enables the child with special needs to start moving the tricycle easily, put the tricycle in reverse, and slow down if going too fast!

The standard gearing on this trike is the mid-range gear 18 Tooth chainwheel with a 24 Tooth rear sprocket - other gearing is available to meet the needs of your child. If your child's needs change, you can purchase a new Triaid chain ring for your local bike shop to install.
